Welcome to the collective orientation for students in ECCE programs across BC. To support the uniqueness of each program and the differences in schedules, the ECPN PSI (post-secondary institutions) pedagogists reading group created this orientation portal focusing on the questions:

Who is the ECE student in the province of BC? What kind of an educator are they becoming? What dispositions and knowledges will they nurture in response to the always-changing conditions of the 21st century?

The orientation consists of 4 sections:

1. The Land

2. The Profession

3. Educational institutions, and

4. Curriculum and Pedagogy

Each section contains videos made by different ECE folks in the province, resources, links, etc. The working group has designed this portal so that students can access it independently, with their instructor in class, or a combination of both.

Each section is accompanied by an invitation to engage students in a collective experiment or an exercise.
